Product Specialist, Inside Sales Rep

The Product Specialist, Inside Sales Representative, will support the overall development and growth initiatives for Kemco’s Aftermarket business segment with a focus on spare, replacement and upgrade parts solutions.

  • Maintain, develop and expand relationships with existing customer portfolio.

  • Grow Industrial Solutions portfolio to achieve and exceed bookings and revenue targets through outbound and inbound call activities.

  • Build and maintain a balanced funnel of sales prospects to drive bookings and grow revenue.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Industrial Solutions equipment.

  • Handle technical support questions from new and existing customers.

  • Collaborate with Engineering and Outside Sales on new product applications and cross sell opportunities.

  • Provide customer support via the web (click to chat) and by phone.

  • Consult with customers on current and future projects

  • Assist with implementation and start up of new equipment to ensure quality

  • Utilize Salesforce.com to track the sales pipeline to meet and exceed sales targets.

  • Quote prices and manage quote follow-up activities.

  • Coordinate the fulfilment of customer requirements (technical support, training, sales collateral, etc.).

  • Partner with Customer Service to provide best in class service to customers.

  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of products and services to provide accurate and detailed information to customers.

  • Other job duties as assigned.

  • 1-2 years selling filtration equipment, capital equipment (air handling, test equipment), or construction projects into industrial markets. Technical background with the basic understanding of air handling, filtration, purification, and HVAC system design preferred.

  • Experience in project lifecycle process for projects in manufacturing.

  • Systems Integration with a focus on process analytics would be helpful.

  • Familiarity with Contract negotiation and legal language.

  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft office.

  • Experience with Sales Force is desired.
